Based in Atlanta, David Tagg creates objects that seem to have wandered out of another room—or perhaps another version of this one. His work begins with non-linear thoughts, dreams, forgotten conversations, and the quiet failures that shape a life as much as its successes. Rather than illustrating stories, he builds worlds around them: furniture for rooms that don't yet exist, images for walls that have only been imagined, and symbols for experiences that resist language. Working across sculpture, furniture, printmaking, photography, and graphic form, he develops a visual language for the invisible rhythms beneath ordinary life. Each piece is less an answer than an invitation—a place where memory, faith, and imagination quietly meet.
